Gina Carlson is a West coast native who grew up in the Redwood City, CA and Corvallis OR prior to graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Communications along with a specialty education focus in Interior Design. She started her career as a manufacturers representative and commercial interior designer in the Seattle area before launching her business in 1992 in Thurston County. She is a proud mother of two adult children, Carly and Cole. She is a committed Christian, avid athlete, cook, traveler, reader and community leader and volunteer. Building homes that protect and nurture is where her heart and passions blossom.
The interior product and planning industry paved her path to business ownership. Her career has spanned globally and locally with commercial and hospitality design, office/medical buildings, hotel and restaurant furnishings, tenant improvements, along with home renovations, additions and ADU’s. In the course of her 34 years of industry experience, Gina transformed a design and product dealership into a turnkey award winning design-build construction company. Gina is a Certified Aging in Place, kitchen and bath design specialist along with other general construction certifications and years of project management experience.
With 27 years of sawdust, sweat, and craftsmanship under his belt, Rick is the backbone to our builds. He thrives on his ability to learn something new every day.
He brings precision, pride, a smile & love for craftsmanship to every project. With 11 years of experience under his belt, his favorite part of the job is the creativity behind every project and watching it all come together.
Providing helping hands with a craftsman’s heart for 10 years. Tim found his passion for construction by attending New Market Skills Center as a high school graduate. He’s a skilled roofer, enjoys framing & is an example of what a vocational skill centers can do for a career. We appreciate his positive attitude & support he provides to our projects.
With 10 years of experience in office and financial management, she plays an integral role in supporting daily operations, financial organization, and administrative coordination. Her work helps keep the team efficient and focused on delivering great results for clients.
As the owner of a custom cabinet company we have worked with Gina for both commercial and residential projects large and small for 15 plus years. She is outstanding in helping with design including, concept, materials, fabrics, and colors. Including cabinetry, furniture, floor coverings, tile and paint. We chose Gina and Dunamis Interiors Inc. for our remodel project and couldn’t be happier with our decision. Our 1933 farmhouse was a challenge, to say the least. Though solidly built, it has settled over the years and there is not a square corner, plumb wall, nor level surface to be found. Gina and her construction team were wizards and completely transformed our kitchen and two bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom in particular required some amazing problem solving as it was not originally a bathroom and to make room for the plumbing runs they had to lower the ceiling of the room below! Gina and her team did an excellent job on the remodel We had the basement (1960’s paneling and drop ceilings with fluorescent lights) completely gutted and began anew. They put in rock insulation, excellent job on the drywall by Justin and Rex Hudson plus drywall repair in several rooms upstairs; redid all of our doors, trim, closets (my favorites walk-in closet has a closet …. And guest bedroom has a been redone to house tax records and luggage), we even got a hobbit door for underneath the stairwell, as well as new lighting throughout the house; plantation blinds.
